I’m now shutting down the original email notice system that I started to use when I first opened the site. For the vast majority of you, don’t worry as you are now subscribers to the new system, and should still get the email notices.

One of you though, “curlia@hotmail.com” will have to email me directly so that I can set you up in the new system. I don’t even know who you are!

Sorry for not posting for a while. I’ve been pre-occupied of late.

I’ve been informed that the comments seem to be broken. I’ve had the chance to look into it and think I’ve figured it out.

Could people please feel free to comment to test if my repairs have succeeded?

Hi folks,

I’m also trying a new service to send email updates of new posts, so please don’t be surprised if you start getting 2 emails with updated posts… this will occur as I transition to the new system.

The reason I’m transitioning is to try not to rely on a third party provider… I like to keep my copyright.

Hello everyone…

To this point I have felt somewhat restricted in what I have been able to post for pictures. People (including myself) value their privacy. There are pictures of family that I have taken that I would imagine some people don’t want shared with the world, as it were. So I’ve researched and am implementing measures to post those items where only the “chosen” can see them. Below are the instructions to be able to view these posts… if you have any questions or difficulties PLEASE contact me:

1. Those that I deem worthy will be assigned a login and password by me. I will email you this login information. Please do not lose it.
2. When you go to my site, you will need to use that login and password the first time. Please go to the right of my blog, and find the “login” as shown below. Then click on it.
3. You will then see a login screen, please click the “Remember Me” checkbox, enter the username and password I provided and click “Login”.
4. The first time you do the above, you will likely end up at a strange page, just click the “visit site” button, and it will take you to the main site. The next time you visit you should end up directly at my site, without the login stuff (as long as you checked the “remember me” box).
5. That should be it. By the way, I REALLY REALLY recommend you view my site with Firefox Please Login or Register to see the link. as other browsers (particularly Internet Explorer) can’t seem to render it properly.

As I said, if you have problems PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know so that I can clear it up for you. I’ve got some vacation shots coming that I think everyone will enjoy.
