Damnit! Where’s my winter?!

Well I’ve got to say I feel jipped! Every winter I enjoy the couple of days to week of snow. This year, NOTHING worth writing home about. No snow has even stayed on the ground in Langley! This is what we have seen in previous years:

I’d be nice to get a little reminder once a year that we are north of the 49th parallel.

Well, I guess not this year.

PS: In case you are wondering, the second shot was taken with a Pentax 12-24mm lens. It’s actually 2 shots that have been combined in Photoshop CS4. The “Photomerge” feature did a good job this time.

Even though I’ve become a little cynical and jaded over the past while, from time to time life seems to throw things at us that merit a moment of appreciation. Mid-October clouds can be quite impressive.
